Who used to be a fan of Ziana Zain?

Oh yeahhhh... Hee hee. I just finished watching HMI with Ziana Zain. It's weird cos I used to be a fan of hers. But that was BAAAACCCK THEEENNN... During the Sembilu days. Hahaa... And I love her old songs but detest her new ones. The new ones are all crap. Actually most songs nowadays are crap. I think people have used up most of their ideas, thus composing songs which lack quality. I especially like hmm... Kekal from Ziana Zain... Hee hee...

Sayang dengarkanlah... syair kau tulis ku lagukan
Moga jadi siulan suatu masa...
Dan moga engkau 'kan tersenyum dengan irama indah...
Hanya itu yang mampu ku beri...

Heh... And... I can't help but sing Kasih Ku Pertahankan whenever it rains...

Hujan yang berguguran...
Seakan memahami kedukaan
Melanda ke jiwaku
Yang pasrah pada kesetiaan...

Hee hee. I'm nuts, I know. Anyways... her guest artiste just now was none other than my ultimate favourite 80's singer.... FRANCESCA PETERS! She rocks your socks off, man! Francesca Peters ROCKS. I lurrrvvveeee Sekadar Di Pinggiran so so soooo muuuuccchhh...

Tidak ku sampaiiii ke puncak sanaaaa
Apalah dayaaaa bertahan cumaaa
Di pinggiran yang memilukannnn....

My mom was smiling when she saw me singing to that song in front of the mirror, pretending that I was singing at Anugerah. Tee hee. Then she told me to really join it rather than just daydreaming about it at home. But of course, I won't. I'm nuts but not that nuts. But if I was to actually get nuts enuff to join it, I feel like singing Francesca Peters songs for every single week.

Hatiku masihhhh...
Seperti duluuuu...
Tidak pernah pun berubah cintanya...
Adakah engkau...
Masih sepertiku
Yang setia selamanya...

But I will have to find my Jamal Abdillah if I was to sing that song. Ha. I'm a lunatic. Anyways... I suddenly feel like talking about my childhood friend, so (a'la Kel from Kenan and Kel) Here Goessss....

MY CHILDHOOD FRIEND
My childhood friend is Nur Jannah bte something and she was my grandma's neighbour's step-grand daughter. Complicated huh? Anyways, to make things simpler... My grandma is Nenek Nab, and Nenek Nab lives in Chai Chee. Her neighbour who lives a door away from her is Mak Yam who married Tok Din after Tok Din's wife passed away. Thus, Jannah is Mak Yam's step grand daughter. So, right after my birth, I lived at Chai Chee until I was 2. Even after I've moved over to Bukit Panjang, I will frequently visit Nenek Nab at Chai Chee. And during every single visit, I will hope that Jannah visits her Mak Yam too so that we can play together. My mom don't usually allow me to play downstairs at Bukit Panjang, and well, I was actually a shy kid who was anti-social when I was young. So I don't actually fancy playing at the void-deck too. However, it was different when I'm at Chai Chee, cos Jannah and I will usually play outside the lift landing at the 5th storey(which is where our grandmas' flats are at) together. And joining us will be her sister, Sakinah, and her aunts(who is actually younger than us), named Raihanah and Aishah. Sometimes her uncle(who is also younger than us), Luqman will be joining us too. Oh yes, Jannah and I are of the same age, but I'm 2 months older I think. Anyways, Jenap's daughters, whom I can't remember their names will play with us too. However Jenap's daughters are quite shy and quiet... so oh well. We will play all sorts of games like Pepsi-Cola 123, and other role-playing games. We will get the props from Raihanah's(she is Mak Yam's oldest daughter) house. It was so much fun. Anyways, it's kind of weird, cos she is the opposite of me. She is Madrasah-educated while I'm from a secular school. Thus she grows up to be a refined young lady and I am this, well, not-so-refined girl. The only similarity is that both of us are shy and needs warming up before we can get close and play with each other. I remember the time during Hari Raya, I think, when I saw her, but both of us were too shy to ask each other out to play. At that time, we have not met for quite a long time, so it felt awkward to just go over to the other and say "Let's go play". However she was the one who approached me and we played Happy Family at the void deck. Hee hee. It was fun. I luuurrrvveee my childhood friend, cos she is one of the nicest people that I have ever met in my entire life. We have never fought with each other while playing, and we were always nice to each other. Another difference between Jannah and me is that she is actually very pretty. Even her sisters(Sakinah and Zainab) are all so pretty. But that's prolly cos they're pious and stuff. Hahah... Anyways, I haven't heard anything about her for a very long time, but I think I saw Sakinah the other day, during Hari Raya. Oh yeah, her siblings and her are all very tall, so that's another difference. But that's just cos her parents are tall. So yeah, that's my childhood friend! My childhood friend is the best! Oh yeah, and Nadim and Nadiah(they're my cousins) too. I remembered the times we role-played as Djs and the time when we threw paper aeroplanes from Nenek Nab's kitchen. Hee hee. So fun! I LOVE CHAI CHEE! All the significant memories took place in Chai Chee.... *sigh*
