Free Periods

Yea... I'm home early. Could have been earlier but oh well. Papa Barnabas had to go to his son's check-up today, so we had free lessons for GeePay!!! And Mrs Lim Mee Ting Have-You-Gone-For-Your-Meeting is not in school today. So all in all, I went to school for Literature Paper 1, PE, and Econs. What a waste. And to think that I was nearly late... So, oh well. And something miraculous happened today, I actually paid attention for Econs lesson... and learnt something from it. A feeling that has been gone for so long. That is, until Azura borrowed Xue'En's Men's Health magazine... and turned to the pages on sex, which was actually very amusing. Fortunately, that was during the last few minutes of Econs... so, yea.

And Juju, created the most "nak-mati" joke ever...
Here is the joke; Syirin's dialogues aren't really exact, but it goes something like this anyways...

Syirin: Pagi-pagi kat Sembawang MRT, ada 2 budak perempuan India year 1 selalu make-up sebelum gi skolah. Pakai mascara. Pakai eye-liner teballll nyer, jenis India-India nyer eyeliner.
Me: Siakkk ahh...
Juju: Eh, kau tanya aku pakai ape gi skolah.
Me: Tanak.
Juju: Tanya...
Me: Ok fine, kau pakai ape gi skolah?
Juju: Uniform.
Me: *fell over the bench, had my last seizure and died, or so I thought*

Anyways, suddenly I was reminded of American Idol. Yeah, there wasn't any AI last night due to Bush's speech... so yeah, I'm waiting for tonight. And this reminds me on how most people actually hated Leah cos she usually cries on national TV. And those who hate Camile hate her due to that very fact too. I mean, it's so weird. What is wrong about people showing their emotions? In this modern society, where everything gets so mechanical that people get more and more cold-hearted by the day, the slightest show of emotions is actually heartwarming. It reminds me that there are human who are actually still very humane. I mean, dammit, what's so wrong about showing disappointment, joy, whatever by shedding tears or having ourbursts? That just goes on to show that you are still human, doesn't it? Goddammit, even animals cry, so why can't humans? Just because she cries, doesn't make her a spoilt sport, nimrods. It just reinstate that she is still very much human who can still feel emotions such as disappointment, pain, heartache, anger, happiness etc. So, yeah. I don't mind people being emotional or whatever, cos by the end of the day we're all human beings and are bound to show our feelings in one way or another. There's no right or wrong in showing your emotions, and if people think you're pussies for feeling the way you do or doing the things you do, then that's just too bad. And, I still don't get why people hate those who cry on national TV!

Oh yeah, we had some Turkish guests over for International Friendship Day. Quite honestly, I'm starting to get ill when it comes to anything related to Turkey or Turkish. Sik. Yeah. Sik. And Ankara brings back psychotic memories. *chuckles till I die, or so I thought*
